Dr Thiha received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University of Dental Medicine, Mandalay in 2012. After obtaining bachelor degree, he finished one-year clinical training at Mandalay General Hospital. Later after in 2014, he worked as a competent general dental practitioner at many dental clinics in Yangon and appreciated by many patients.

In 2015, he participated International Summer Program (ISP) of Tokyo Medical & Dental University, and got Japanese Government Scholarship (Monbusho) in 2016. In 2020, he obtained PhD in Oral Implantology from Tokyo Medical & Dental University, during which he received Best Oral Presentation Award in Myanmar Dental Conference 2020.

Thereafter, he obtained fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. During his fellowship, he also awarded Second Runner-up Award in Bangkok International Implant Symposium 2022.

He published many top-tier research papers during his academic ship. He is also a bona fide member of Myanmar Dental Association, Myanmar Society of Oral Implantology and taking part in continuing education program.

Currently, he served as a co-founder, a lead dentist and dental implant specialist at ASAHI Dental Specialist Clinic, Tachileik, Myanmar. As a firm believer of positive patient experience, he strives to empathize with patients and is committed to provide quality dental care.
